GRK recommends PHEINOX 305 stainless steelsscrews for applications that require superior corrosionresistance in exterior environments with high moisturecontent, such as docks, boardwalks, pools, and hot tubs.

PHEINOX 305 stainless is also recommended for usewith cedar, redwood and various other wood speciesthat have higher acid content. PHEINOX 305 stainlesssteels screws are recommended for applications locatedmore than 1 mile from the coast.

PHEINOX 316 stainless steels screws are recommendedfor applications where extreme corrosion resistance isnecessary, such as environments with high exposureto chlorides- such as de-icing salts- and in coastalapplications within 1 mile of the coast. They are
also suitable for use in chemically treated wood andnaturally-protected wood such as cedar and redwood.
